Toro Motor Yacht
About Toro
Thirty-one knots flat out puts Toro at the fast end of an 85-foot flybridge, driven by twin MAN 12V2000M94 engines built for that kind of pace. Ferretti completed her as an 850 in 2017, and she lies now in Sydney, Australia.
Build and provenance
She is a Ferretti 850 Hard Top, a 26-metre, 85-foot flybridge motor yacht with a monohull, a 6.3 metre beam and a 2 metre draft, at 124 gross tonnes. A Ferretti of this generation is built for the speed that follows: light enough for her twin MAN engines to push her quickly, stiff enough to carry the hardware that keeps that pace comfortable.
Layout and accommodation
Four cabins sleep eight guests, with a crew of three aboard to run her day to day, including a full-time captain. Below decks, parquet flooring, marble bathrooms and Minotti furnishings set the interior finish, with tropical air-conditioning fitted for hot climates.
Performance and engineering
Twin MAN 12V2000M94 engines give Toro a 26-knot cruise and a 31-knot top speed, with zero-speed stabilisers to settle her at anchor and a stern thruster for tight berths. Underwater lights extend the evening at anchor into the water itself, and a tender-launching system with upgraded Simrad navigation and a full AV and entertainment package round out the equipment aboard.
Where she lies and how to see her
Toro lies in Sydney, Australia. Boatcrowd arranges viewings there and is on hand for them, and once an offer is accepted we organise the survey and sea trial ahead of handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
