About That's Life II

Four cabins for eight guests is a straightforward count, and That's Life II lays them out in the classic flybridge pattern: full-beam master aft, VIP forward, and two further cabins split to port and starboard. Fairline built her as a Squadron 68 in 2020, and she lies ready in Germany for a new owner to move aboard.

Build and provenance

Fairline completed her as a Squadron 68 in 2020, a monohull flybridge cruiser. No refit is on record, so a buyer is looking at a hull close to how she left the yard, rather than one refreshed partway through her life. At 21 metres with a 5.2 metre beam and a 1.6 metre draught, she carries her length without excess beam to manage.

Layout and accommodation

Four cabins sleep eight guests, with a single-berth crew cabin for the one person who runs her day to day. The full-beam master sits aft with its own en suite, the VIP cabin sits forward, and two further cabins, one fitted with bunks, split to port and starboard for the remaining guests.

Performance and engineering

Two 1,150 hp CAT C18 engines give her a 30-knot top speed, output suited to covering ground steadily rather than jumping onto the plane in a hurry. Stabilisers under way keep the ride flat when conditions turn less than calm. Fuel and water tanks hold 3,895 and 897 litres.

On deck and at anchor

Foredeck seating gives guests a spot forward and away from the cockpit, and a bathing platform at the stern makes getting in and out of the water straightforward. Wifi and air conditioning keep things comfortable aboard, a stern thruster eases her into a berth, and a small wine cellar is stocked for evenings alongside.

Where she lies and how to see her

That's Life II lies in Olpenitz, Germany. Boatcrowd co-ordinates viewings on site, and once an offer is accepted a survey and sea trial follow before she changes hands.
