About Azimut Grande 44M
A private terrace with sea views forward and aft, reached from a whole deck kept for the owner: that is the idea behind the Azimut Grande 44M. This Azimut, working with designer Alberto Mancini, moved the helm station to a fourth deck to free the Upper Deck for exactly that, a master suite and terrace rather than a bridge. Five owners had already committed before her launch.
Build and provenance
The yard developed the Azimut Grande 44M with designer Alberto Mancini on the concept and exterior styling, and with M²atelier on the interiors. She is a 44-metre motor yacht, one of the shipyard's Low Emission Yachts, due for delivery from Italy in 2028.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five cabins, and the accommodation is arranged over four decks, with an Owner's Deck among them.
Performance and engineering
Twin MAN engines are offered at 1,550 hp or 1,800 hp, giving a top speed of 17 knots. That sits alongside a Dual Mode hull, Hull Vane foil technology and a Mild Hybrid Plus Zero Emission Hotel Mode system, aimed at lower emissions without giving up the pace those engines provide.
On deck and at anchor
The beach club sits beneath a Mezzanine Deck and its sea-view terrace, with a See Through Pool that keeps a line of sight to the water from the terrace above. Forward, the Upper Deck can be fitted as a media room, a private space for the owner, or a dining area with a veranda that seats twelve, lit by windows cut nearly two metres long. A lounge with a small firepit sits in the bow for watching the sun go down.
Where she lies and how to see her
The Grande 44M is building in Italy, on track for a 2028 delivery. Boatcrowd represents the sale and will organise a viewing once she is ready, attending alongside the buyer; survey and sea trial follow once an offer is accepted.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
