Simena Motor Yacht
About Simena
A crew of nine for twelve guests is close to one crew member for every guest, and that is the ratio Ares Yachts has set for Simena, still in build for delivery in 2026 from a Saint-Tropez sale. Owning her from this stage means securing a place in the build rather than buying a finished yacht off the berth.
Build and provenance
Ares Yachts is building Simena with a steel hull and a GRP superstructure, at 62 metres (202 feet) and 499 gross tons. She is due in 2026, and every fitting and system aboard her will be new from the day she is handed over, with no history of use or refit to account for.
Layout and accommodation
Twelve guests are accommodated across five cabins, with a crew of nine to run the yacht and see to them, leaving room to spare rather than running to capacity.
Performance and engineering
Simena is a displacement motor yacht, and her recorded cruising speed is 11 knots, a pace suited to steady passages rather than short hops at speed. Engine and range figures are not yet published at this stage of her build, and will be confirmed closer to delivery.
Where she lies and how to see her
Simena is offered from Saint-Tropez, France, ahead of her 2026 delivery. Boatcrowd arranges viewings around her build and, once an offer is accepted, coordinates the survey and sea trial once she is complete.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
