About Tortura
Six cabins for 12 guests is a generous ratio on an explorer-style motor yacht of 26 metres, and Tortura spends that space on three owner-style cabins spread across different decks rather than one owner's suite and five afterthoughts. Aegean Yacht built her in 2024, and she is offered from Bodrum, in Turkey.
Build and provenance
She has a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure, a full-displacement design suited to distance rather than speed, and at 187 gross tonnes she carries real volume for her length. Aegean Yacht handled her exterior design, naval architecture and interior design in house, keeping the look and the structure decided by one yard rather than several contributors. Her beam of 6.9 metres underpins the six-cabin layout below.
Layout and accommodation
Three of the six cabins are owner-style, positioned on different decks rather than clustered together, spreading privacy through the yacht instead of concentrating it in one place. The upper deck owner's cabin opens directly onto a private aft terrace, away from guest traffic elsewhere on board. The main salon combines a seating area with its own dining table, and the layout throughout makes efficient use of the available volume. Four crew look after the 12 guests across those six cabins, a ratio that keeps service attentive without feeling crowded.
Performance and engineering
Two engines, each rated at 1,300hp, power Tortura at displacement speeds suited to covering distance comfortably rather than arriving quickly. Her full-displacement hull, steel below the waterline, is built for a long day under way rather than a short hop between anchorages.
On deck and at anchor
The aft deck carries its own dining space by the swim platform, the sundeck adds further lounging space, and wide side decks make moving around her easy underway.

Tortura lies in Bodrum, in Turkey. We handle viewings ourselves and attend every one; once an offer is accepted, a survey and sea trial follow before anything is final.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
