Three engines, not two, is the detail that defines Fast & Furious. AB Yachts built her in 2016 as a 45-metre sport yacht with three engines each producing 7,800 hp, and she has kept that specification since delivery. At 340 gross tonnes and 148 feet, she lies in Salerno, Italy.
Build and provenance
She is a monohull motor yacht with a GRP hull, and no refit is recorded since AB Yachts delivered her in 2016: the equipment a buyer inspects, from twin Sea Keeper stabilisers to four Humphree interceptors, is the yard's original specification.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five staterooms, including a master suite with a drop-down balcony, and a crew of seven runs the boat around them, close at hand for a full table. The lower deck holds a gym and an office, set apart from the guest cabins above.
Performance and engineering
Three engines, each producing 7,800 hp, give Fast & Furious a 32-knot cruise and a 42-knot top speed, a spread built for covering ground quickly rather than a slow passage. Stabilisers work both at anchor and underway, so the same speed that carries her between ports also holds her level once she arrives.
On deck and at anchor
On deck she carries a beach club, a swimming platform, a barbecue, a balcony and a sun deck, and a gym below decks gives a place to train between stops. Wifi and air conditioning run throughout, and a tender garage keeps the toys stowed rather than lashed to the deck.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
