About Sitara
One owner has looked after Sitara since VisionF delivered her in 2024, and little on board suggests otherwise. She is a full-aluminium catamaran built with the range for an Atlantic crossing: 25 metres overall, 82 feet, with a 9.9-metre beam that gives her deck and saloon genuine width.
Build and provenance
VisionF built Sitara as a liveaboard catamaran rather than a seasonal charter boat, and the specification follows that brief throughout. Her hull and superstructure are full aluminium, a material chosen for the range she is built to cover, and the systems are designed around a light crew: an AI-based object detection layer and a wraparound camera system stand in for some of the watchkeeping a larger crew would otherwise carry. Her tonnage sits in her tankage and power systems rather than in her fit-out.
Layout and accommodation
Seven guests sleep across four cabins, one of them a multi-purpose suite that converts between an office and a fourth cabin for guests or crew, so Sitara can flex between a full guest list and a longer passage with a smaller party aboard. The main deck holds an open-plan saloon with a workspace and a coffee bar, while the galley sits below with a view out rather than tucked out of sight.
Performance and engineering
Two Volvo Penta IPS D13 engines, each rated at 1050 kW, give Sitara a 14-knot top speed and an 8-knot cruise, matched to a 3.700-nautical-mile range that points at distance rather than at a fast lunch run. A 1.2-metre draught keeps shallow anchorages open to her, and a dynamic-positioning system lets her hold station without dropping a permanent mooring.
On deck and at anchor
A BBQ station sits aft for entertaining, and the fly deck carries a fitness area above the guest cabins rather than tucked away below. Starlink and a retractable saloon television keep the boat connected and entertained underway, and below the waterline a watermaker and a diving compressor support real time away from a marina. The stern's hydraulic lift handles a Williams jet tender, and a SEA.AI Sentry system adds another layer of watchkeeping.

Sitara lies in Olbia, Italy. We arrange viewings there and come along for them, and once a buyer's offer is accepted, a survey and sea trial follow before the sale is completed.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
