Andala Motor Yacht
About Andala
Buying new means buying without a history to read: what you see is exactly what you get. Baglietto completed her as a stock build in 2025, and at 41 metres across 411 gross tons, Andala rides on a displacement hull built for long, easy days at sea rather than short fast ones.
Build and provenance
She is built in aluminium, hull and superstructure alike, with Stefano Vafiadis responsible for the exterior lines and Giorgio Cassetta for the interior. Baglietto delivered her as a stock build rather than to a private commission, so a buyer steps into a finished yacht rather than a set of drawings.
Layout and accommodation
At 411 gross tons across 41 metres, Andala carries meaningful volume, tonnage that gives the interior real room to work with. On a stock build like hers, that volume was designed in from the start rather than adapted to fit an owner's brief.
Performance and engineering
Two CAT C32 engines give her a 14-knot cruise and a 17-knot top speed, figures that fit a displacement hull built for steady range rather than a sprint. That is a yacht suited to passages measured in days, not a fast run between two ports.
Where she lies and how to see her
Andala lies in La Spezia, Italy, ready to be seen. We set up the viewing and are on board for it, and once an offer is accepted, survey and sea trial follow before handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
