About Gracious
Eight guests across four cabins is a full layout for a sailing catamaran, and Gracious carries it under sail rather than power. Sunreef Yachts built her in 2021, and at 18 metres, or 60 feet, with a 9.5-metre beam, she has the volume of a cruising catamaran built to be lived aboard rather than raced.
Build and provenance
Gracious is a used yacht rather than a new-build delivery, a sailing catamaran built by Sunreef Yachts. Two 150 hp Volvo Penta D3 engines are aboard for motoring in and out of harbour or when the wind drops, alongside her sail plan.
Layout and accommodation
Four cabins sleep eight guests, and a flybridge lounge sits above the main deck, giving an extra level to look out from while under way or at anchor.
Performance and engineering
Two 150 hp Volvo Penta D3 engines handle manoeuvring and the miles a sail plan alone will not cover, diesel power sized for a catamaran built primarily to sail rather than to motor.
On deck and at anchor
A solar option keeps house power running without the engines turning over, and watersports gear stows aboard for use once she is anchored, both suited to the slower rhythm of a sailing catamaran's days.

Gracious is offered for sale through Boatcrowd, and we arrange a viewing and attend it with you wherever she is lying at the time; a survey and sea trial follow once an offer is accepted.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
