Silver Bullet

Six guests across three cabins is a compact ratio for an 83-foot sports yacht, and it says something about how Silver Bullet is meant to be owned: as a fast, owner-driven boat rather than a yacht built to host large groups. Pershing built her in 2022, and she is offered for sale from Olbia.

Build and provenance

She is the Pershing 8X, a carbon composite monohull. Composite construction keeps weight down where a heavier hull would blunt her performance, and at 25 metres with a 5.9-metre beam she carries her length narrow rather than wide, the shape of a hull drawn to plane.

Three cabins sleep six guests aboard the Pershing 8X, a compact plan that matches her sport styling: fewer guests aboard, in exchange for a hull built for pace rather than capacity.

Performance and engineering

She cruises at 40 knots and reaches 48 knots at full throttle, numbers that put her firmly in planing territory: a hull shaped to lift and hold pace rather than push through the water at a fixed displacement speed. For an owner, that means shorter transit times between anchorages, more days that start in one place and end somewhere else entirely.

Where she lies and how to see her

Silver Bullet lies in Olbia. Boatcrowd sets up viewings there and comes along to each one; after an offer on her is accepted, a survey and sea trial follow before she changes hands.
