Build and provenance

Ocean King builds from a yard in the Venice lagoon, background the company carries into the Ducale 140's aluminium hull and superstructure. Performance and engineering

Two 1,450 hp MAN D2862 LE489 V12 engines carry Ducale 140 to a thirteen-knot cruise and fifteen knots flat out, drawing on 13,210 gallons of fuel and 3,698 gallons of fresh water, tankage sized for her 4,000-nautical-mile range. At 440 gross tons, she carries real internal volume into an aluminium build made for ocean passages rather than coastal days.

Ducale 140 is building for delivery to Fort Lauderdale, in the United States, and once she arrives we will arrange viewings there and bring buyers aboard ourselves. Any accepted offer is followed by a survey and sea trial, the sequence a new-build purchase goes through on the way to handover.
