Build and provenance

Sunseeker is responsible for both her exterior and interior design, a single hand on every surface rather than a hull dressed by an outside studio. She is a GRP monohull in the flybridge style, measuring 30 metres, 98 feet, with a beam of 7.9 metres and 125 gross tonnes, dimensions that give her real internal volume for her length. That volume is what lets a five-cabin, ten-guest layout feel spacious rather than stacked.

Layout and accommodation

Ten guests sleep across five cabins, with a crew of five to look after them, close to a one-to-two ratio that is generous for a yacht this size. The full-beam master suite gives Pura Vida II's owner a cabin as wide as the yacht itself, set apart from the guest cabins. In the main salon, wide glazing and a sliding bulkhead open the room to the cockpit. A forward dining area seats the full complement of ten, backed by a galley with full-size refrigeration and full cooking equipment for entertaining at anchor.

Performance and engineering

Two MTU engines rated at 2,640hp apiece give her a 20-knot cruise and a 30-knot top speed, numbers that come from real power rather than a light hull alone. Stabilisers keep her level underway, and a tender garage stows her toys out of sight. She carries roughly 12,800 litres of fuel, tankage that supports a genuine cruising range.

On deck and at anchor

Her swimming platform gives direct access to the water from the stern, and a tropical-specification air conditioning system keeps the interior comfortable in warm climates. Between the platform and the master suite below, she suits an owner who cruises somewhere consistently warm.
