Evadne builds the Rock 85 in aluminium; And Art is hull number two, finished in 2020. A 6.5-metre beam and a 1.8-metre draft, on a hull that measures 85 feet overall, give her steady proportions, and at 145 gross tons she carries real interior volume for that length.

Layout and accommodation

Eight guests sleep in four cabins, with a crew of four to run her, one crew member for every two guests, enough for full service without stretching anyone thin. Four heads mean no cabin has to share, keeping the accommodation four separate suites rather than one shared plan.

Performance and engineering

She cruises at 12 knots and reaches 15 at full throttle, figures that leave her twin engines in reserve rather than at their limit most of the time, in keeping with engines that have effectively no hours on them yet. Fin stabilisers hold her level at anchor and under way, and a solar array feeding a Mastervolt lithium system means less reliance on the main engines just to keep the hotel systems running at anchor.
