Build and provenance

Ocean King builds from a yard in the Venice lagoon, background the company carries into the Ducale 140's aluminium hull and superstructure. Two 1,450 hp MAN D2862 LE489 V12 engines carry Ducale 140 to a thirteen-knot cruise and fifteen knots flat out, drawing on 13,210 gallons of fuel and 3,698 gallons of fresh water, tankage sized for her 4,000-nautical-mile range. At 440 gross tons, she carries real internal volume into an aluminium build made for ocean passages rather than coastal days.
