Atraversia Power Catamaran
About Atraversia
Buying an electric catamaran can mean buying a share of one rather than the whole hull, and Atraversia is offered that way: a fractional stake, not a single whole-boat sale. VisionF built her in 2025, a 24-metre catamaran that puts her ownership, as much as her propulsion, on a different footing from a conventional motor yacht.
Build and provenance
VisionF built Atraversia with a composite hull and superstructure in GRP and carbon fibre. Her propulsion is electric: two Danfoss motors of 199 kilowatts each, backed by a pair of 145-kilowatt diesel generators for days when solar charging alone is not enough. For a buyer, that combination shifts the running costs and the maintenance calendar away from what a single diesel plant would ask for, and a surveyor who knows electric propulsion is worth having present at the sea trial. Her beam is 10.95 metres and her draft 1.2 metres, dimensions that shape the deck plan and the shallow-water access alike.
Layout and accommodation
Nine guests sleep across four cabins, with a crew of four aboard to run her, a compact complement suited to a catamaran's twin-hull layout rather than a single deep monohull.
Performance and engineering
Her electric motors carry her to a 12-knot cruise and 16 knots at full power, and her range is rated trans-oceanic. Fuel capacity of 5,000 litres feeds the generators rather than a main engine, and 1,600 litres of fresh water tankage supports longer stretches away from a marina. A Williams Diesel Jet 445 tender, powered by a 110 horsepower Yanmar engine, comes with her.
Where she lies and how to see her
Atraversia lies in Imperia, Italy. Boatcrowd arranges viewings and is there for each one, and once an offer on a share is accepted, survey and sea trial follow before anything is finalised. She is also part of our charter fleet, so a buyer weighing a fractional stake can book time aboard, through her charter page, before deciding.

She is in our charter fleet as well as on the market, so a season can be run against her costs while she is for sale.
Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
