Reduce Motor Yacht
About Reduce
Four Volvo Penta IPS pod drives, each rated at 735 kW at 2300 rpm, are what let Reduce cruise at 18 knots and reach 24 flat out on a hull built to run light rather than push hard. Silver Yachts delivered her in 2024, drawn in collaboration with Espen Øino, and her aluminium construction keeps the numbers efficient rather than merely fast.
Build and provenance
Silver Yachts built Reduce in 2024, a 36 metre yacht with an aluminium hull, drawn in collaboration with Espen Øino. At 483 gross tonnes on a 13.3 metre beam and a 1.9 metre draft, she carries plenty of volume on a hull shaped to stay light, which is where the efficiency below comes from.
Layout and accommodation
Twelve guests sleep across five cabins, each en suite, with a crew of eight to run her. The volume a light hull buys shows up in the living spaces: open plan interiors and generous exterior deck areas rather than a hull given over mostly to engineering.
Performance and engineering
Four Volvo Penta IPS 1350 pod drives, each producing 735 kW at 2300 rpm, give Reduce an 18-knot cruise and a 24-knot top speed. Her slender, low resistance hull reaches those speeds on modest power, which for a buyer means lower fuel burn on every passage, not just a faster one.
Where she lies and how to see her
Reduce lies in Italy. Boatcrowd will set up a viewing and be there for it, and once an offer is accepted, survey and sea trial come next, ahead of handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
