About Iguazu
A 1,500-nautical-mile range built into a 24-metre yacht says everything about her intent: Iguazu is engineered to cross open water rather than hop between anchorages. SES Yachts delivered her, a custom composite build, in 2019.
Build and provenance
Her hull is composite, built with vinyl ester resin. Duck Design in Italy worked with SES Yachts' own team on her exterior lines, and Barbara Pensoy designed the interior. She has no refit on record, so hers is still the specification delivered in 2019, now seven years old.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests sleep in four cabins: a VIP suite with a king bed, two twin-bedded cabins and one further double, with the owner's cabin holding its own ensuite bathroom and a walk-in closet. Four crew share the captain's cabin and a bunk cabin, berthed apart from the guest deck. The main deck carries the salon, open galley and wheelhouse together, the galley island opening straight onto a dining area for eight.
Performance and engineering
Two Caterpillar C12 engines give Iguazu a 10-knot cruise and a 21-knot top speed, built for steady offshore miles rather than a fast dash between ports. Stabilisers work both underway and at anchor, so the ride stays level whether she is making way or sitting on the hook. She carries 5,000 litres of fuel and 1,500 litres of fresh water, tankage that matches her 1,500-nautical-mile range.
On deck and at anchor
On deck, a beach club, a jacuzzi, a barbecue and sunpads share the sun deck, with a gym below for guests who want to start the day with a workout. A wine cellar and a full-beam master suite round out spaces built for extended time aboard rather than a day trip.
Where she lies and how to see her
Iguazu lies in Florida, in the United States. Boatcrowd sets up viewings there and comes along to each one; once a buyer's offer is accepted, survey and sea trial follow before the sale completes.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
