Buying Project Nacre 62 now means choosing her interior designer and her finishing layout before anyone else does, since the hull and superstructure are complete but the interior fit-out is not. At sixty-two metres, with twelve guests across six cabins already fixed in the naval architecture, Sarp Yachts is building to a buyer's brief rather than handing over a fixed, finished design. Her build year is set for 2026.
Build and provenance
Sarp Yachts is constructing Project Nacre 62 from steel and aluminium, a platform for a sixty-two-metre monohull motor yacht. The interior design is credited to Hot Lab, and Van Oossanen Naval Architecture drew the naval lines, both names attached to the project since the build began. With the hull and superstructure finished and the fit-out the single stage left, a buyer is choosing decoration and layout rather than commissioning a design from scratch.
Layout and accommodation
Twelve guests are planned across six cabins, including a main suite with its own office and a pair of walk-in closets, one for each of the owners. Crew space is designed for up to thirteen, a balance of guest and crew space that points to a yacht built for long stays with full service rather than short coastal hops.
Performance and engineering
Two Caterpillar CAT 3512C engines, each rated at 2000 horsepower, give Project Nacre 62 a cruising speed of twelve knots and a top speed of 16.5 knots, output suited to a yacht of 1000 gross tonnes covering distance rather than sprinting. Zero speed stabilisers hold her steady at anchor, useful on a hull of this size when the sea is not glass calm.
On deck and at anchor
On deck, a beach club, a swimming pool with a deck jacuzzi and a large sun deck give guests several places to spend the day outdoors. A gym sits among the wellness spaces, and an elevator connects the decks for guests and crew alike.
Where she lies and how to see her
Project Nacre 62 is under construction in Turkey, and we handle enquiries directly as the build progresses. We arrange viewings of the yard and the vessel as she stands, and once an offer is accepted a surveyor is brought in, with a sea trial to follow once she is far enough along before handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
