Build and provenance
Neta Marine built Meira as a displacement motor yacht on a monohull, a construction suited to smooth, steady passages rather than outright speed. She carries a single main engine, a Mitsubishi S12A2MPTK, a layout with fewer moving parts for a surveyor to check than a twin-engine boat of the same size. For a buyer this reads as a simple, proven propulsion arrangement rather than an untested one.
Layout and accommodation
Twelve guests are accommodated across six staterooms aboard Meira, looked after by a crew of ten, close to one crew member per guest. That ratio points to a yacht run for attentive service at a full table rather than a lean skeleton crew stretched across the boat.
Performance and engineering
Her single Mitsubishi engine gives Meira a 10-knot cruise and a 12-knot top speed, figures that suit steady coastal and inter-island runs rather than fast open-water crossings. At 550 gross tons and a 9.9-metre beam, she carries her systems and tankage with room to spare rather than trimmed to a minimum.
On deck and at anchor
On deck, a swimming pool and jacuzzi give guests somewhere to cool off without leaving the boat. Below, a gym and a sauna and steam room make up the wellness deck, and a jet ski and an onboard therapist extend what a day aboard can include.

Meira lies in Turkey, ready for inspection there. Boatcrowd sets up every viewing and stands alongside you at it, and once an offer is accepted the survey and sea trial follow before she changes hands. She also sails in our charter fleet out of Athens, across Greece, Turkey and Cyprus, giving a buyer the option to charter her first and decide afterwards.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
