Two 1,851 hp MTU engines are the number that defines Jackpot: enough power to move 570 gross tons at a steady 14-knot cruise, with 16 knots in hand. Christensen built her, delivered in 2020, and she lies today in Alaska.
Build and provenance
Jackpot is a Christensen motor yacht, delivered by the yard in 2020 with a fibreglass monohull and teak decks, classed with ABS for unlimited cruising. She measures 50 metres, or 164 feet, with a beam of 29 metres and a draft of 2.2 metres, and carries 570 gross tons. The yard designed her in-house, inside and out, the same builder responsible for the whole build.
Layout and accommodation
Twelve guests sleep in six staterooms, looked after by a crew of ten, close to a one-to-one ratio that keeps service unhurried even with a full guest list.
Performance and engineering
Two 1,851 hp MTU 12V 4000 M53 engines run on diesel and give Jackpot a 14-knot cruise with 16 knots available at full throttle, the pace of a displacement hull built to cover distance steadily. A tender rounds out the practical side of the boat for a guest wanting to get ashore without waiting on the crew.
On deck and at anchor
A jacuzzi and a sun deck give Jackpot her outdoor living space, and a helipad and a lift between decks add to her scope for guests moving around the boat. Satellite TV and WiFi keep her connected at anchor.

Jackpot lies in Alaska. We arrange viewings on board and attend them with you, and once an offer is accepted, a survey and sea trial follow before handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
