Build and provenance
BB Yachts builds the BB66 as a flybridge motor yacht on a monohull, and this example, BB 66 Custom, measures twenty two metres with a beam of 5.7 metres and a draft of 1.8 metres. She is still in build, which gives a buyer the chance to specify machinery before delivery: the standard fit is twin MAN V8 diesels, with a 1300 horsepower upgrade and a MAN Hybrid option both on the order sheet.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests sleep across four cabins, and the flybridge above them gives the layout an extra deck of open-air living.
Performance and engineering
Twin MAN V8 diesels give BB 66 Custom a 24-knot cruise and a 29-knot top speed. Zero Speed Stabilizers keep her level at anchor, and a Jet Ski is carried aboard for time on the water once she is moored.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
