Silver Star Motor Yacht
About Silver Star
Six cabins for twelve guests on a fifty-five-metre yacht is a spacious ratio, and Silver Star spends that space on comfort rather than count. Admiral delivered her in 2023 as a sistership to the charter yacht GECO, carrying a number of technical upgrades of her own. The result is a yacht built for a smaller party to spread out, not for maximum capacity.
Build and provenance
She is a displacement motor yacht on a monohull, built by Admiral in aluminium and delivered in 2023. Her interiors were designed by the Italian house Armani, and she shares her hull with the charter yacht GECO, built with a number of technical upgrades over that sistership.
Layout and accommodation
Twelve guests sleep across six cabins, generously sized rather than laid out to maximise berths on a fifty-five-metre hull. Silver Star is built to entertain a smaller group well rather than a full one adequately.
Performance and engineering
Her aluminium hull and shallow 2.3-metre draft keep her light for her length, useful for reaching anchorages and marinas a deeper, heavier yacht would have to avoid.
On deck and at anchor
Forward, a touch-and-go helipad doubles as a lounging area on the foredeck when it isn't landing anything, and an open beach club converts for dining, with an integrated transformer that turns into an integrated transformer for boarding.
Where she lies and how to see her
Silver Star's exact berth isn't listed here, but Boatcrowd will arrange a viewing wherever she is lying and attend it with you. A survey and sea trial follow once an offer is accepted, ahead of handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
