A long, low bonnet line and a windscreen pulled forward like a sports coupé give the ISA Sportivo 140 her profile before she is even in the water. ISA is building the 44-metre sport yacht for delivery in 2028, with a restrained superstructure that keeps the eye on that shape rather than on stacked decks. At 298 gross tonnes she carries real volume behind a silhouette built to look fast standing still.

Build and provenance

Her hull and superstructure are being laid up in GRP and carbon fibre, a combination that keeps weight down on a sport-styled hull without giving up the volume that puts her at 298 gross tonnes. She is a monohull motor yacht in the Sportivo series, due for delivery in 2028, so a buyer is effectively commissioning her rather than inheriting someone else's maintenance history.

Layout and accommodation

Aboard the ISA Sportivo 140, four cabins sleep eight guests, with three crew aboard to run the boat and look after them: a compact company for a 44-metre yacht, suited to an owner who wants speed and style ahead of a full hotel-scale crew complement. At 8.7 metres of beam there is room to spread those cabins out rather than stack them.

Performance and engineering

Three Volvo Penta IPS 1350 drives, each rated at 1,000 hp, give her a 26-knot cruise and a 32-knot top speed: genuine sports yacht pace, not a cruiser dressed up to look quick. A draft of just 1.5 metres opens up shallow anchorages a deeper-hulled 44-metre could not reach.

Where she lies and how to see her

Italy is where ISA is building her, with 2028 the year she is due to leave the yard. A viewing before then means seeing her mid-build; Boatcrowd sets that up and comes along, and after an accepted offer we bring in the surveyor and arrange her sea trial once she is in the water.
