Raffles designed the AY78 Flybridge as a monohull, and Aquitalia 78 is one built to that specification in 2024. Her hull is FRP construction, built for stability and steady handling rather than for outright speed.

Four cabins sleep eight guests aboard Aquitalia 78, a flybridge layout that puts the entertaining space up top and the sleeping quarters below, away from the day's traffic. At 78 feet with a beam of 6.1 metres, there is room enough for the split to feel generous rather than tight.

Performance and engineering

Aquitalia 78 cruises at 19 knots and reaches 25 knots flat out, comfortable numbers for hopping between anchorages rather than crossing open water. At 56 gross tonnes, she carries enough hull to keep that speed settled rather than jarring, a flybridge yacht built to cruise more than to race.
