Build and provenance

She is built in steel and aluminium, on a monohull, to a design from Cassetta Yacht Designers, who drew both her interior and her exterior. She measures 65 metres, 213 feet, with a beam of 10.6 metres and a gross tonnage of 1,250, proportions that put real volume behind her length.

Performance and engineering

Two Caterpillar 3512E engines, rated at 1,350 kW apiece, cruise her at 10 knots and reach 15 knots at full throttle, with a range of 5,000 nautical miles: figures suited to an ocean crossing rather than a short coastal hop, and a cruising speed set for comfort over pace.

Where she lies and how to see her

The B.Loft 65M is taking shape at the yard in Italy, due for handover in 2030. A viewing is arranged and attended by Boatcrowd; once terms are agreed, a surveyor and a sea trial follow, ahead of delivery.
