Bering B82

Steel and aluminium hulls built for open water are what set an explorer yacht apart from a coastal cruiser, and both go into Bering B82 at the builder's yard in Turkey. She is a semi-custom design, so a buyer signing now still has a say in how the interior comes together before her 2028 delivery. At 174 gross tons across 23 metres, she carries real volume for 8 guests.

Bering builds her as a monohull motor yacht in the Explorer style, semi-custom rather than off a fixed production line, in steel and aluminium rather than fibreglass. That construction is what lets an owner still choose layout options ahead of completion, and it is also what gives an explorer yacht the strength for genuine ocean passages rather than short hops between anchorages.

Layout and accommodation

Eight guests are Bering B82's capacity, looked after by a professional crew of two. Her layout options are still open at this stage of the build, which means a buyer who signs now can still shape how the cabins and living spaces come together rather than accepting a finished plan handed over at delivery.

Bering B82 is under construction in Turkey, where the yard builds every hull in the series. Boatcrowd arranges viewings of the build and attends them with you, and once an offer is accepted we co-ordinate the survey and sea trial ahead of her delivery in 2028.
