Leopard Power Catamaran

Three cabins, each with a queen bed, set the shape of life aboard Leopard: the same double berth in all three, with no cabin demoted to a pair of singles. She is a 51ft (16m) power catamaran from Leopard Catamarans, built in 2016.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 10 knots and keeps 14 in reserve, so a bay further along the coast stays in range without a long stretch under way. Air conditioning cools all three cabins.

Water toys

A 10ft tender travels with her for runs ashore, and snorkelling gear is aboard, so anyone who wants to see what lies below the surface can simply get into the water.

Where she cruises

Penang, in Malaysia, is her home port, and she is the longest yacht based there; Malaysia is her entire cruising range, with her peak running through January, February and March and returning in December.

Accommodation and crew

Six guests sleep aboard, and for a day on the water she can carry 25, with a crew of two looking after them.

Charter notes

Leopard suits a family or a group of friends, and with day and half-day charters offered, a party larger than her berths can come out on the water for a few hours' hire instead of a night aboard.
