Nexus

Sunseeker built Nexus in 2019, and she was refitted in 2022, so a buyer takes on a yacht with recent work already done rather than work still to plan. At 40 metres and 343 gross tonnes, she is built in GRP from hull to superstructure. She lies in Pietra Ligure, on the Italian coast, ready for a new owner to take on.

Build and provenance

Sunseeker delivered Nexus in 2019, and she was refitted in 2022. Both hull and superstructure are GRP, a single-material build that keeps her weight down for her length. A buyer takes on a hull and superstructure of one material rather than two, which simplifies what a surveyor has to check before completion.

Layout and accommodation

Twelve guests are accommodated across five cabins, with a crew of eight aboard to run the yacht day to day. At this length, that crew-to-guest ratio points to full service rather than a lean delivery crew, useful to an owner who wants the yacht properly staffed and ready to cruise as soon as she is bought.

Performance and engineering

She cruises at 14 knots, a pace that suits a displacement hull built for steady sea-keeping rather than speed.

Pietra Ligure is where Nexus lies, and it is Boatcrowd who takes a buyer there. We set the viewing up, attend it, then bring in the surveyor and the sea trial once an offer is accepted.
