ISY 88 Explora

Steel below the waterline and aluminium above is the combination explorer yachts use for range and impact resistance, and it is the one Inace Yachts chose for the ISY 88 Explora. Due in 2027, she is a 26-metre, 200-gross-ton motor yacht built for distance rather than marina hopping. Fin stabilisers with a zero-speed function and a hydraulic bow thruster back up that brief at anchor and close to the dock.

Build and provenance

Inace Yachts is building the ISY 88 Explora with a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure, the pairing many explorer yachts use to keep weight low while the hull stays strong for open water. She is not yet delivered: her build year is 2027, so a buyer is acquiring a yacht still under construction rather than a used one.

Layout and accommodation

Eight guests are accommodated in four cabins: a full-beam master on the lower deck, a VIP cabin, and two further guest cabins. A crew of two runs her, a compact complement that keeps day-to-day operation straightforward. The flybridge carries a jacuzzi and al fresco dining, spread across three decks of outdoor space.

Performance and engineering

She is set to cruise at 8 knots, a displacement speed suited to distance rather than a quick coastal hop, and consistent with the fin stabilisation and steel construction built into her from the outset. That pace, paired with her hull material, points to a yacht meant for genuine passages.
