Nex-T

Four years after her delivery, NEX-T already exists: no drawings to approve, no build slot to wait for. She is a 2022 Horizon FD92 Tri Deck lying in Key Largo, and for a buyer who wants a yacht to view this month rather than order one for delivery two years out, that is the entire case for buying used.

Build and provenance

Horizon built her as an FD92 Tri Deck, a three-deck monohull motor yacht delivered in 2022. NEX-T carries no refit on her record, so the specification a buyer views today is the one supplied at delivery, not one altered since.

Layout and accommodation

Ten guests sleep across five cabins, looked after by a crew of five, close to a one-to-two crew-to-guest ratio at full capacity. Spreading three decks over 187 gross tonnes gives the guest spaces room a two-deck layout of the same length would have to share with the cabins below.

Performance and engineering

Two 2,000 hp Caterpillar C32B engines carry her to a 16-knot cruise and 22 knots at full throttle: enough for coastal runs between anchorages without settling into the patience a slower displacement hull would demand. At 187 gross tonnes, that power moves a hull built for comfortable days on deck rather than outright speed.
